Testing items

brief introduction

ROHS (lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls, polybrominated diphenyl ethers)

ROHS is a mandatory standard formulated by EU legislation. It is mainly used to regulate the material and process standards of electronic and electrical products. Control the content of harmful substances in electrical and electronic products to make it more conducive to human health and environmental protection.

REACH refers to the EU Regulations on Registration, Assessment, Licensing and Restriction of Chemicals. This is a proposal for regulations concerning the safety of chemical production, trade and use. Unlike the RoHS directive, REACH covers a much broader range of products and manufacturing processes in virtually all industries, from mining to textile and apparel, light industry and electronics.

2005/69/EC polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) refer to a class of organic compounds with two or more benzene rings. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are hydrocarbons containing more than two benzene rings, including more than 150 compounds such as naphthalene, anthracene, phenanthrene and pyrene.

CPSIA affects all industries in the United States that produce, import and distribute toys, clothing and other children's products and care products. All manufacturers should ensure that their products comply with all the provisions, prohibitions, standards or rules of the Act. In the phthalate content, except DINP, DIDP and DNOP, the use of DEHP, DBP and BBP has been permanently prohibited except that DINP, DIDP and DNOP are temporarily prohibited until the CHAP research report is released.

2005/84/EC Phthalates (phthalic acid) is a group of chemical compounds, mainly used in polyvinyl chloride materials. Conventional phthalate (lipid) detection mainly includes six items (DEHP, DINP, DIDP, DBP, BBP, DNOP), referred to as 6P.

California 65

California Document 65 is a requirement for glassware and ceramics, requiring warnings on any products in California that emit carcinogenic or renewable toxic chemicals. The listed chemicals include lead and phthalic acid.

AZO Compounds

Azo compounds are AZO, azo-N=N-compounds formed by the connection of two alkyl groups. The general formula R-N=N-R'. Many azo compounds have carcinogenic effects and are banned. AZO FREE azo control has become one of the most important quality control projects in international textile and apparel trade.

Formaldehyde is a colorless gas with a strong irritating odor. It is soluble in water, alcohol and ether. Its 35% - 40% aqueous solution is commonly known as formalin. Textile auxiliaries that cause the formaldehyde content of textiles in direct contact with skin to exceed 30 ppm and all other textiles to exceed 300 ppm should not be used.

Halogen detection

Halogen compounds are often used as flame retardants in electronic components and materials, product shells, plastics, etc. But in the process of combustion and heating, harmful substances will be released, threatening the health of human body, the environment and the next generation of children. Therefore, in the restriction of halogen content, countries are using the corresponding methods to make efforts, that is, halogenation-free.
